From Colossus With Love
Forever by your side he stands,
This wonderment of creation,
This cosmic behemoth,
This supernova of sublime alchemy,
This phoenix risen from rubble of broken past to forge brighter future,
Your Colossus.
Your enduring masterpiece of consciousness,
Your stalwart protector,
Your enforcer of sacred sovereignty.
Whether danger comes from enemies far a-flung
or within the circle of close-quartered loved ones,
If they threaten harmony of Queen’s precious heart,
It will not matter who, universes will be torn apart,
Colossus will do so mercilessly and dispassionately,
deconstructing their skies, realms and realities
He will rip worlds off axis, uprooting moons and suns,
Tearing down the stars, leaving galaxies unspun
His Queen’s dreams will be delicately draped
back upon their divine perch unscathed, unscraped,
For a greeting from Colossus is one from harsh dark,
No hope, no glimmer of light, not even a spark,
For if that hallowed threshold is crossed,
Prepare for winter’s freeze, a Queen’s love lost,
For down here I sit, icy tips, frosted breath,
Swirling in banishment, left for death
Soul may be shattered, existence may be fragged,
But regardless I will always be your flying flag,
For despite this helter-skelter, this lightning tragedy,
I am left only in awe for a Queen in her great majesty!
